The PING i540 Irons are engineered for golfers seeking increased ball speed, higher launch, and improved stopping power in a clean players-distance profile. Combining a forged maraging-steel face with advanced internal technologies, the i540 delivers metal-wood-like face flex while maintaining the precision and control better players expect.
Forged Maraging Steel Face
A forged, variable-thickness maraging-steel face that is 9% thinner promotes greater face flex, producing faster ball speeds, higher peak height, and improved distance.
Tungsten Weighting
Tungsten weighting in the 4–7 irons lowers the center of gravity to generate higher launch, increased ball speed, and improved stopping power on approach shots.
inR-Air Technology
An internal air-filled structure positioned behind the face helps fine-tune sound and feel while allowing the face to flex freely for maximum ball speed.
